"Look Up "Is this the time to fall in love with life again

"Look Up" Is this the time to fall in love with  life again This post is inspired by the Youtube video a spoken word film for an online generation .The inspirational video  ‘Look up’   makes you to rethink about  your lifestyle!  #lLookup  A thought provoking    #Youtube video is a  beautifully transmitted lesson  through a love story became viral and  stormed the social media but I wonder how many us will remember and try to implement the lesson learnt in our real lives ! Watch the video here-

LYRICS
I have four-hundred-and-twenty-two friends, yet I am lonely. I speak to all of them everyday, yet none of them really know me.

The problem I have sits in the spaces between looking into their eyes or at a name on a screen. I took a step back and opened my eyes, I looked around to realise the media we call social is anything but.

When we open our computers, and it's our doors we shut. All this technology we have it's just an illusion. Community companionship a sense of inclusion yet, when you step away from this device of delusion, you awaken to see a world of confusion.

A world where we're slaves to the technology we mastered, where information gets sold by some rich greedy bastard. A world of self interest, self image, self promotion. Where we all share our best bits, but, leave out the emotion.

Were at 'almost happy' with an experience we share, but is it the same if no one is there? Be there for your friends and they'll be there too, but no one will be if a group message will do.

We edit and exaggerate, crave adulation. We pretend not to notice the social isolation. We put our words into order and turn our lives a-glistening. We don't even know if anyone is listening!

Being alone isn't a problem let me just emphasize; if you read a book, paint a picture, or do some exercise. You're being productive and present not reserved and recluse. You're being awake and attentive and putting your time to good use.

So when you're in public, and you start to feel alone. Put your hands behind your head, step away from the phone! You don't need to stare at the menu, or a your contact list. Just talk to one another, learn to coexist.

I can't stand to hear the silence of a busy commuter train when no one wants to talk for the fear of looking insane. We're becoming unsocial, it no longer satisfies to engage with one another, and look into someones eyes. We're surrounded by children, who since they were born, have watched us living like robots, who now think it's the norm.

It's not very likely you'll make worlds greatest dad, if you can't entertain a child without using an iPad. When I was a child, I'd never be home. Be out with my friends on our bikes we'd roam. I'd wear holes on my trainers, and graze up my knees. We'd build our own clubhouse, high up in the trees.

Now the parks so quiet, it gives me a chill. See no children outside and the swings hanging still. Theres no skipping, no hopscotch, no church and no steeple. We're a generation of idiots, smart phones and dumb people.

So look up from your phone, shut down display. Take in your surroundings, make the most of today. Just one real connection is all it can take, to show you the difference that being there can make.

Be there in the moment, when she gives you the look, that you remember forever as 'when love overtook'. The time she first held your hand, or first kissed your lips, the time you first disagreed and you still love her to bits.

The time you don't have to tell hundreds of what you've just done. Because you want to share this moment with just this one. The time you sell you sell your computer, so you can buy a ring, for the girl of your dreams, who is now the real thing.

The time you want to start a family, and the moment when, you first hold your little girl, and get to love again. The time she keeps you up at night, and all you want is rest. And the time you wipe away the tears as your baby flees the nest.

The time your baby girl returns, with a boy for you to hold, and the time he calls you granddad and makes you feel real old. The time you've taken all you've made, just by giving life attention. And how you're glad you didn't waste it, by looking down at some invention.

The time you hold your wife's hand, sit down beside her bed, you tell her that you love her and lay a kiss upon her head. She then whispers to you quietly as her heart gives a final beat, that she's lucky she got stopped by that lost boy in the street.

But none of these times ever happened, you never had any of this. When you're too busy looking down, you don't see the chances you miss.

So look up from your phone, shut down those displays, we have a final act existence a set number of days. Don't waste your life getting caught in the net, because when the end comes there's nothing worse than regret. I'm guilty too of being part of this machine, this digital world, we are hear but not seen.

Where we type as we talk, and we read as we chat. Where we spend hours together without making eye-contact. So don't give into a life where you follow the hype. Give people your love, don't give them your 'like'. Disconnect from the need to be heard and defined, go out into the world leave instructions behind.

Look up from your phone. Shut down that display. Stop watching this video. Live life the real way.

Do Post Sex Manners Matter More To A Woman ?

Is it true that post sex manners matter more to a woman than it does to a man ? I put forth this questions in a discussion on iTimes and got an overwhelming response not that many  were vocal about it or came forward to share their experience  but it became a hot topic  but what really surprised me the most was , despite being a popular post  most of the comments were simply "yes" or "no". I strongly feel although , both fore and after play equally  contribute to art of love making but fore play is given much more importance than  the after play   is given and  post sex manners do matter more to a woman than it does to a man !

According to Penny Slinger in their book "Sexual Secrets", Eastern philosophy has a poetic explanation for why men fall asleep faster than women. Woman is likened to water "slow to come to a boil and slow to cool down afterwards." Man is equated to fire, in that he is "quickly ignited and speedily extinguished."

#woman #relationships #sex

The fact post coital touch can lead to a satisfying relationship is ignored and rarely spoken about for people simply don't realise that intimate ambiance can continue after orgasm. 90% of my women friends have never had an after play ,not that they never wanted to have it but the man just rolled over and fell asleep , and the remaining 10% are the demanding women or probably got the right guys who understood the physiologic gender difference. Another factor affecting the after play is the timing of sex. If you usually have sex at night, your fatigue, in combination with the stimulation by the parasympathetic system that decreases the contractions of the heart, that reduces your energy level and causes deep feeling of relaxation especially for men . On the contrary a woman's body remains in that plateau for very long . After play is key to intimacy which leads to a stronger bond in a relationship but unfortunately ignored by most of us.Its important for one to understand sex is not all about performance but its creativity and this creativity can make sex am art that leaves a fragrance that can engulf a man and a woman for days together. The forms of after play cuddling and snuggling. , stroking of hair, massaging, and caressing just lying together, savouring the touch, sight, smell, and taste of each other can bring intense emotional satisfaction . Romantic, intimate conversation during after play can enhance the emotional aspects of sex and strengthen the bonds of the relationship. According to Kama Sutra, "When a woman is tired, she should place her forehead on that of her lover and should take rest, without disturbing the union of their sex organs. When she has rested herself, the man should turn around and begin to make love with her again. If lovers spend time playing and caressing each other at the end of their loving, then their ecstasy and confidence increase. Love-play enhances pleasure." A provoking thought yet as important as the sex is to our lives.

Should We Speak Up Againt Marital Rape ?

There are several types of rape, generally categorised by reference to the situation in which it occurs, the sex or characteristics of the victim, and/or the sex or characteristics of the perpetrator. Different types of rape include date rape, gang rape, marital rape, incestuous rape, child sexual abuse, prison rape, acquaintance rape, war rape and statutory rape among these marital rape is quite common all over the world but rarely reported in Asian and Islamic countries .Despite the pronouncement of marital rape punishable in India , though a criminal offence but we  hardly see women come forward to report a marital rape .This post is inspired by one of my recently married employee  , an educated girl , who is in a similar situation who's parents and in-laws instead of supporting the poor girl insist that  she must give in her spouse's sexual demands to make her marriage work . And it makes me ponder " Should we not or should we speak up against marital rape ? #marital  #rape #crimeagainstwomen #nirbhaya

Marital rape, also known as spousal rape, is non-consensual sex in which the perpetrator is the victim's spouse which is rarely reported in countries like India though it is a form of partner rape, of domestic violence, and of sexual abuse. Once widely condoned or ignored by law, spousal rape is now repudiated by international conventions and increasingly criminalised. Still, in many countries, spousal rape either remains legal, or is illegal but widely tolerated and accepted as a husband's prerogative.

Throughout much of the history, in most cultures, sex in marriage was considered a 'right', that could be taken by force, if 'denied'. As the concept of human rights started to develop in the 20th century, and with the arrival of second wave feminism, such views have become less widely held. The legal and social concept of marital rape, has developed, in most industrialised countries,Historically, most religions were interpreted as tolerating or ignoring forced sexual relations in marriage. Judaism has been considered an exception to this way of thinking; in Israel, in 1980, when the Israeli Supreme Court affirmed that marital rape is a crime, it was mostly religious arguments based on the Talmud that were given by the judges

Since widely spoken Nirbhaya case Indian rape laws were amended. after a committee was constituted under Justice Verna to recommend amendments to the Criminal Law so as to provide for quicker trial and enhanced punishment for criminals accused of committing sexual assault against women. The Committee submitted its report on January 23, 2013. According to the report submitted the rape in India is defined as under -

#Rape:

The Committee was of the view that rape and sexual assault are not merely crimes of passion but an expression of power. Rape should be retained as a separate offence and it should not be limited to penetration of the vagina, mouth or anus. Any non-consensual penetration of a sexual nature should be included in the definition of rape.

"The IPC differentiates between rape within marriage and outside marriage. Under the IPC sexual intercourse without consent is prohibited. However, an exception to the offence of rape exists in relation to un-consented sexual intercourse by a husband upon a wife. The Committee recommended that the exception to marital rape should be removed. Marriage should not be considered as an irrevocable consent to sexual acts. Therefore, with regard to an enquiry about whether the complainant consented to the sexual activity, the relationship between the victim and the accused should not be relevant. "

But the question remains when will women come forward barring all the pressures of society and become vocal about marital rape in countries like India ?

Ganga The River Ganges

Ganga ,The River Ganges has several tales abandoned in her , probably each granule of sand in the river bed has something that remains undiscovered . Acoording to Hindu mythology since Ganga had descended from heaven to earth, she is also the vehicle of ascent, from earth to heaven. As the Triloka-patha-gamini, (Skt. triloka= "three worlds",patha = "road", gamini = "one who travels") of the Hindu tradition, she flows in heaven, earth, and the netherworld (as explained below ), and, consequently, is a "tirtha," or crossing point of all beings, the living as well as the dead. It is for this reason that the story of theavatarana is told at Shraddha ceremonies for the deceased in Hinduism, and Ganges water is used in Vedic rituals after death. #GANGA  #THERIVERganges

In Hindu cosmology, Patala or Patal (Sanskrit: पाताल, Pātāla) denotes the seven lower regions of the universe - which are located under the earth. Patala is often translated as underworld or netherworld. Patala is composed of seven regions or lokas, the seventh and lowest of them is also called Patala or Naga-loka, the region of the Nagas. TheDanavas (demon sons of Danu), Daityas (demon sons of Diti), Yakshas and the snake-people Nagas live in the realms of Patala. According to Hindu cosmology, the universe is divided into the three worlds: Svarga (Heaven: six upper regions), Prithvi (earth) and Patala (the seven lower regions)- the underworld and netherworld.(wikipedia)
